  1. Good day golfers
    Im a 77 y/o golfer, 17 handicap playing Ping G430 max, G440 5w, G430 7 w, 4&5 Ping 430 hybrides, Taylor Made Qi HL irons, Vokeys SM11 48,54,58.
Played Srixon Q Star Tour, ERC, Wilson triad. My preference has been Wilson Triad the 2025 version ( last one ). This Ball is straight, soft on irons & putting not mushy. Fabulous golf ball & excellent spin on greens. The only négative comment I have ….Im conscious that Im loosing an average of 5+ yards per shot…not a distance ball but accurate et predictable. If only Wilson would modified by lowering compression much around 70 ( instead of 80 ) and make the mantle more reactive for a better ball speed….and get that 5 yards average back…this would become THE golf ball for 80% of golf players. 2027 golf ball season with the new balls models is coming this fall 2026 ….Im crossing my fingers.

    • Hi EireF, thank you for your comment.

I agree with you that the Triad is an amazing golf ball and it gives excellent value for money. Sometimes the tradeoff is not so bad; even if you lose 5 yards, you still play a consistent ball that does what you want it to. I see what you are saying, and even if it would add those 5+ yards to your shots, at a compression of 70, it could take away a bit of greenside spin.
Either way, it is a great ball to play.

      Kind regards,
      Dan
